At Timag Nursery we grow our own plants on site, in the growing area behind the plant centre.  No plant is offered for sale until we consider it is ready.

We use several different pot sizes depending on the type of plant.

9cm pots - usually a 1 year plant or for summer bedding / basket plants.

1 Litre pots - usually for smaller herbaceous perennial varieties and bulbs.

2 Litre pots - the standard size for herbaceous perennials, usually a two year old plant.

3 Litre pot - our standard size for most shrubs and climbers.

10 Litre pot - This is used for specimen size shrubs and climbers which makes a good plant size for the "instant garden"

All our growing is done on site out of view at the back of the plant centre. We start by sowing seed or taking cuttings, or planting plug plants.

All our plants only become available for if they meet our high standards.

Every plant from Timag Nursery will be healthy, free from any pests & diseases, ensuring it is primed and ready to deliver colour and enjoyment in your garden.

Should you be un happy with the quality of any plant you purchase from us, we will replace it straight away - Unlikely we reckon !

We make every effort to supply plants true to name if you feel something is incorrectly named please tell us. As some plants are grown from seed they may differ in appearance from each other , this is quite normal. (often how new plants are discovered!)

All our plants in contain a slow release fertiliser which keeps working for up to 2 years ensuring a good start in life. We also incorporate a vine weevil protection in the compost which protects from the harmful larvae which kill plants roots.
